I had a great time this past week working on Repo Games for 495 Productions. I got the chance to work with them last fall on the show and was glad to go back out. Sunny Phoenix was extra sunny around this time of the year. Brutal more like it.

So we finished all the large construction. We cleaned it all up, and moved some gear in. Now we start to tune the room. Maybe the most important part of the process. But we couldn’t help but Christen the room. Everyday we get a little closer.
The Studio needed a proper introduction to it’s future. I figured I’d give them a moment.
It doesn’t sound terribly good yet, but man does it feel good to listen in there.
Time to make noise! Take her out for a test drive.
Recently I was offered to try my hands at some FOH work with some bands I work with. It was a fun night, at the Amsterdam in downtown St. Paul. Mississippi Peace opened up followed by No Bird Sing, and then Coloring Time closed the show. This was one of the best Coloring Time shows I’ve seen to date. Fun night. Thanks to all the bands for letting me twists some knobs while you rocked it.
The walls are primed and ready for the final coat. The ceiling is getting sprayed this week. Then we paint the final coat. A little sealing here and there and we’re ready for flooring by the weekend. Rockin…

James “Fluff” Harley has brought me in to do some vocal editing on a record he has been working on down at Waterbury Studio in Minneapolis. Occasionally, a good movie keeps the vibe going. Can you guess what scene this particular shot was from.
Awesome day in the studio with Dear Data yesterday. Super good vibes! Everyone really pulled together and kept it creative. Thanks to Shock and Audio for having us, especially Michael Sandstedt for keeping all the gear working. Couldn’t have done it without you. Here are some pics…
All electrical was run today. New outlets, and lights. I know what you’re thinking. Maybe you should have waited to pull all your lights till after you painted.

Walls are up. HVAC and Electrical get done this week, then we head into painting and flooring. We got a huge hookup on acoustic panels from the soon to be close Fuzzy Slippers Studios. Thank you to Rich Leone for the good times and the help with the panels.
It’s hard to decided what color to paint these walls. It’s all about the vibe!
